Phat Flats is the creation of graphic designer and illustrator Cathy McAuliffe. Working from her studio in Hobart, Tasmania, Cathy observes everyday items and transforms them into lively, quirky and joyful hand-drawn images. She uses watercolour paints and finishes them with a unique wobbly line using ink. Each image then gets scanned and applied to a range of cards, wrapping paper and prints.
Just to keep things interesting, Cathy regularly adds pieces to the ever-changing gallery of one-off cards, wraps and paintings.
This exuberant range allows you to choose from robots and retro toys, a collection of Tasmanian houses, iconic mid century furniture, vibrant flowers or spunky animals. Love an image? Get it for your wall - all images can be reproduced for you as art prints on high-quality paper or onto canvas prints ready to hang. Not sure which to choose?
